Lufthansa's leisure carrier Discover Airlines is entering the UK for the first time

Discover Airlines, the Lufthansa Group's leisure carrier, will enter the UK market for the first time with seasonal Airbus A320 routes launching in summer 2027: Frankfurt-Glasgow from March 29, Frankfurt-Bristol from May 17, and Frankfurt-Inverness from June 19, plus a Munich-Glasgow link from May 16. The Inverness route becomes the first nonstop connection between the cities, running weekly on Saturdays through mid-September and targeting both German tourists — Scotland's largest European visitor market — and Highland residents seeking easier access to continental Europe. Discover will be the only carrier flying nonstop from Frankfurt to all three new British destinations.
